In June of 2014 Nans Cashmere was selected to participate as artisans representing Mongolia in exciting new LDNY C-Line. It is an initiative in collaboration with two top fashion schools of London (The London College of Fashion) and New York (Parsons New School of Design) interwoven with crafts by artisans from International Trade Centre’s Women and Trade Programme. Nans Cashmere worked together with talented students from these schools to create exclusive designs that combined modern technique and ideas with rich cultural history of Mongolia.
On September 22 of 2014 Nans Cashmere attends the LDNY C-Line Festival where the winning students showcase their own designs and collection inspired by artisans, as well as artisans themselves showcase their own collection in a fashion show. It is a thrilling opportunity and honor for Nans Cashmere to be part of a project that promotes culture, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
